How can I tell if an incoming call is a personal call or a call forwarding from my Unitel Voice Phone Number?

There are two easy ways to distinguish between business calls and personal calls with Unitel Voice.

1. Use the Unitel Voice Mobile App (Recommended)

The Unitel Voice Mobile App makes it simple to separate personal and business calls.

  •  How It Works:
✔ Business calls will ring directly to the app (not your personal phone).
✔ You’ll immediately know when a call is for your business.
✔ Easily manage and return business calls from the same platform.

2. Change Your Caller ID Display for Forwarded Calls

If you're not using the mobile app and forwarding calls to your personal phone, you can adjust your Caller ID settings to show your Unitel Voice number instead of the caller’s number.

  •  How to Change Caller ID for Forwarded Calls:
    • Navigate to Settings > Your Numbers.
    • Select the phone number you want to modify and click “Edit.”
    • Choose your preferred display option in the Caller ID:
      • Caller’s Number: Your phone will display the incoming caller’s number.
      • Virtual Office Number: Your phone will display your Unitel Voice business number, making it easy to identify business calls.
    • Click “Save” to apply your changes.

Now, when a business call is forwarded to your personal phone, you’ll see your Unitel Voice number as the Caller ID—making it clear the call is for your business.

Which Option Is Right for You?

  • Use the Mobile App if you want a dedicated space for business calls.
  • Change Caller ID Settings if you forward calls to your personal phone and need a way to identify them.
