- You are the valid owner of your toll-free or local number(s) as long as your account is in good standing (i.e., no outstanding balances).
- You can transfer (port) your number to another provider anytime—with no fees and no restrictions.
Important Porting Requirements:
- Your number must remain active until the porting process is complete.
- Phone numbers require active service to remain assigned to you—canceling before porting may result in losing your number.
- You can cancel your account or transfer your number to another provider anytime without penalties.
