Types of Extensions

Your Unitel Voice phone system supports three types of extensions:

  1. Employee Extensions (Users):

    • Assign unique extensions to individual employees.
    • Ideal for direct communication with specific team members.
  2. Department Extensions (Groups):

    • Group multiple users under a single extension.
    • Perfect for routing calls to departments like Sales or Support.
  3. Dial-by-Name Directory:

    • Allow callers to search for and connect with employees by name.
    • Adds a professional touch to your phone system.
