We understand that your first invoice may seem confusing, but rest assured—you’re not being overcharged. The first invoice appears higher because it includes both past and future charges, as well as two payments.
Understanding Your First Invoice
You receive your first invoice 30 days after signing up.
This invoice reflects:
- Service charges from your signup date through day 30 (the past billing period).
- Service charges for the upcoming 30 days of service (the next billing period).
Your first invoice also shows two payments:
- Your initial payment (made on your signup date) that covered the first 30 days of service.
- Your new payment (usually made on the anniversary day of signup) that covers the next 30 days of service.
Why Is It Structured This Way?
Unitel Voice is a prepaid service, meaning you pay in advance for each billing period. While your first invoice may appear to have a higher total, it’s simply displaying:
- Charges for both past and future service periods.
- Two payments—one from signup and one for the next month.
After this first invoice, future invoices will only show one billing period and one payment.
