To receive faxes on your Unitel Voice phone number, your number must be set to "Play My Main Greeting." Follow these steps to ensure your fax settings are correct:
Step 1: Enable Fax Reception
- Navigate to Settings > Your Numbers in your Unitel Voice account.
- Click "Edit" next to the number you want to update.
- Update Forwarding Options: Under "Forwarding Options," select "Play My Main Greeting."
- Save Your Changes.
Once this setting is enabled, faxes sent to your number will be delivered to your phone system's Inbox.
Step 2: Access Your Received Faxes
- All voicemails and faxes will appear in your Inbox.
- Use the built-in filters to find faxes quickly:
- Set the "Type" filter to "FAX" to display only faxes.
- Set the "Type" filter to "FAX" to display only faxes.
Step 3: Manage Your Faxes
Once in your Inbox, you can:
✔ Download the fax to your device.
✔ Add a note for reference.
✔ Forward the fax to another recipient.
✔ Delete faxes you no longer need.
? Important: Faxes are stored for 60 days before being automatically deleted. Be sure to download and save any important documents before this period expires.
