Yes! You can customize how your Unitel Voice business call behaves when an incoming cellular (GSM) call interrupts it. Follow the steps below to configure your preferred setting.
How to Adjust Call Waiting Behavior in the App
- Open the Unitel Voice App.
- Navigate to the "Keypad" menu.
- Tap "Settings".
- Select "Preferences".
- Tap "Controls".
- Locate the "On GSM Call"field and choose from the dropdown options:
- Do Nothing (Default) – Your Unitel Voice call will remain active while the incoming cellular call rings in the background and displays an Incoming Call notification.
- Put Call on Hold – If a cellular call comes in, your current Unitel Voice call will be automatically placed on hold.
- Play Message – The Unitel Voice caller will hear a message saying:
"I apologize; our call has been interrupted by an incoming GSM call. I will return shortly or call you back. Thank you."
Tip: If you frequently receive cellular calls while using the app, consider setting the option to "Put Call on Hold" or "Play Message" for a better caller experience.
