Yes! You can transfer (port) your local or toll-free number to Unitel Voice at no charge.
How to Transfer Your Number:
- Select the Transfer Option During Signup
- When signing up, choose the option to transfer an existing number instead of selecting a new one.
- Complete & Submit a Transfer Request (LOA)
- After placing your order, you'll be prompted to complete a Letter of Authorization (LOA).
- Submit your signed LOA along with a copy of your most recent bill for the number (to verify ownership).
- Unitel Voice Contacts Your Current Provider
- Once we receive your documents, we’ll submit a request to your current provider to release the number.
- Number Transfer Timeline
- Toll-Free Numbers: Typically transfer in 2-3 business days.
- Local Numbers: Typically transfer in 7-10 business days.
- No Downtime Expected: Your existing number will remain active until the transfer is complete.
