You can set up custom forwarding schedules for department and employee extensions, including forwarding calls to specific numbers or the mobile app. Here's how to set up custom schedules for both.
Department Extensions
Navigate to the Extensions Page
- Go to the Extensions section in your dashboard.
- Go to the Extensions section in your dashboard.
Select the Department Extension
- Click the Edit button next to the department extension you want to modify.

Edit Forwarding Extensions & Numbers
- In the "Forwarding Extensions & Numbers" section, either add or edit the forwarding extension.

Set the Forwarding Schedule
- Inside the edit menu, you'll find the "Forwarding Schedule" section. By default, it’s set to 24/7. You can choose from a list of presets or select "Custom".

Create Custom Time Slots
- If you select "Custom", a Time Slot menu will appear. Here, you can set specific days and times for forwarding by adding time slots as needed.

Save Your Changes
- Don’t forget to click Save and Save and Close before moving on.

Employee Extensions
If you are forwarding calls to a phone number using the Employee Extension’s Forwarding Extensions & Numbers list, the process for setting a custom call forwarding schedule is the same as for department extensions. Simply follow the same steps in the Employee Extension settings.
Forwarding to the Mobile App
If your employee extension forwards calls to the mobile app, the user will need to manage their availability using the Do Not Disturb setting on their device to control when they are available to receive calls.
