What is a Number Tag?
A Number Tag is a custom description you can assign to each of your Unitel Voice phone numbers. Once assigned, the tag will appear in your Inbound Calls lists online and in your Downloaded Calls lists. This feature is particularly useful for call tracking when you use multiple numbers for different marketing campaigns.
Why Use Number Tags?
Number Tags make it easy to identify and track calls associated with specific campaigns or purposes. For example:
- Assign a tag like "Social Media Campaign" or "Google Ads" to differentiate incoming calls based on their source.
- View tags in your call logs to analyze the effectiveness of your marketing efforts or manage multiple numbers more efficiently.
How to Set Up Call Tracking with Tags
Follow these steps to assign tags to your numbers:
- Navigate to Settings > Your Numbers
- Edit the Number: Select the number you want to tag and click Edit.
- Expand the Other Options section.
- Assign a Tag: Enter a description in the Tag field that represents the purpose of the number (e.g., "Holiday Promo").
- Save Your Changes: Click Save to apply the tag.
Where Can I View Number Tags?
- Tags will be visible in the Inbound Calls screen, making it easy to reference and identify calls.
