What is call blocking and how does it work?

The Unitel Voice virtual phone system allows you to block specific phone numbers and entire area codes from calling your numbers. You can also create a list of exempt numbers that will always be allowed through, even if their area code is blocked.

How to Manage Call Blocking

? Call Block settings can be found in: Settings > Call Block

Blocked Callers

  • Enter the 10-digit phone number you want to block.
  • Click “Add” to add it to the block list.

Blocked Area Codes

  • Enter the 3-digit area code to block all calls from that region.
  • Click “Add.”

Numbers Excluded from Blocked Calls

  • Enter the 10-digit phone number you want to allow (even if its area code is blocked).
  • Click “Add.”

Managing Your Block List

  • All blocked numbers and area codes will appear in your list.
  • To remove a blocked number or area code, click the “X” next to it.

This feature helps prevent unwanted calls while ensuring important contacts can always reach you.
