❗ Important Note: If you are using the Unitel Voice App, you do not need to use the Dial-Out feature. Dial-Out is meant for users who do not have the app and want to place outbound calls while displaying their Unitel Voice phone number.
What Is Dial-Out?
The Dial-Out feature allows you to make outbound calls from any authorized phone (e.g., your cell phone or landline) while displaying your Unitel Voice virtual phone number as the Caller ID. This ensures that your personal number stays private while maintaining a professional appearance.
How to Set Up & Use Dial-Out
Step 1: Authorize a Dial-Out Number
Before placing outbound calls, you must authorize the phone number you’ll be calling from.
- Go to Settings > Dial Out Numbers.
- Click "Add Dial-Out Number."
- A form will appear—enter the phone number of the device you’ll use (e.g., your cell phone number).
- Click "Save."
- The number will now appear in your list of authorized Dial-Out Numbers.
Step 2: Place an Outbound Call with Dial-Out
- Call a Unitel Voice Access Number (listed in your account).
- Follow the prompts to enter the number you wish to call.
- Your Caller ID will display your Unitel Voice number instead of your personal phone number.
Why Use Dial-Out?
✔ Maintain Professionalism – Calls display your business number, not your personal number.
✔ Works Without an App – Make business calls from any phone without needing the Unitel Voice App.
✔ Easy to Set Up – Authorizing your number takes just a few steps.
